View all →During rush hours on weekdays, a specific part of the road in Canelar Moret becomes a one-way street to help ease traffic. Drivers need to follow this direction between 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning and 4:00 to 7:00 in the evening.
Zamboanga City is increasing traffic fines, towing charges, and storage fees to catch more traffic violators and keep roads clear. Traffic enforcers are now also allowed to lock the wheels of illegally parked cars until fines are paid.
Sidewalks are strictly for people to walk on. You cannot park cars, set up market stalls, store junk, or build extensions on them. If you break these rules, you will have to pay a fine or do community service.
All Barangay Health Workers in Zamboanga City are now officially appointed as health educators to help teach the community about disease prevention and health programs. The city is providing funding and incentives to support them in this enhanced role.
